Lake Powell is 3700 feet high and has more shoreline than the west coast of the United States. The pictures on this site are mostly taken in a small canyon call Face. Powell is the most beautiful place on earth. As you can see from my pictures it changes with lighting almost every hour during the day and every 10 minutes during the morning and evening. Enjoy!

I used the moon and the bush in the foreground for drama in this photo. Most of the sand in these pictures are sandstone.
Above is the sunset view of Face Canyon which starts near the top of the water in this picture and continues to the right for about 3 miles and to the left where our boat is parked for about a mile and below is the boat with helo landing on top.
